To re-design the website
our approach
After we redesigned the 'Burdell' branding the next job was to bring the website inline. Great design is all about balance, we wanted the website to be all about the photography with an understated graphical feel. The homepage has 3 key images which rotate to show a different image each time a user visits the site which keeps it fresh and evolving. We saw an opportunity to tie in the freshly created branding with the main image each time. The design adds a new dimension to the photography and branding. As the user scrolls up and down through the sections the burdell identity reflects the colour of that section. In addition, each gallery is colour coded along with the branding. The whole site has a content management system which allows the photographer to update images and information on the fly.
